Kansas black entrepreneurship
There were 4,380 African-Americans self-employed in Kansas, according to 2004 Social Security Administration estimates, 4.99% of the black labor force. That compares with a 12.2% ratio among whites. Achieving parity would require creating another 6,304 black businesses. |
